Watermelon!!!

Everytime we go grocery shopping, the kids all run straight to the watermelons. They just absolutely love watermelon! So, this past week we let Joseph pick out the watermelon he wanted. As soon as we got home, he asked for a piece. So, we cut the watermelon in half and wrapped one half and stuck it back in the fridge and then cut the other half up into pieces and put them into a big tupperware bowl. Every day when they wake up, or get home from school, they start asking for watermelon. Well, Michael decided he wasn't going to ask us to open up the bowl for him to have some. He thought it would be easier to just roll the other half out and start eating it. So that is what he did!!! I thought it was so cute, especially with the big goofy smile he gave me so I just had to take pictures. Then Nio walked in, and asked if I had given it to him. I simply said, "No, he got it out while I was making dinner and I thought it was cute so I took pictures." With an annoyed look, he walked off. LOL! He just didn't appreciate how cute it really was!

So, Joseph is playing basketball right now and is just hilarious to watch. This is his first year, so sometimes I think he is a little bit lost. LOL! He has the running part down, but for the most part he just stands there and dances around or bobbles his head. It's so funny!!! I am also signing him up for soccer this year. He starts soon, and he is so excited to get to kick the ball around!

Channing wants to play soccer, basketball, and do ballet, but I think she is just too whiny to play. She is such a girly girl. So right now, she just goes to school and that is about it. She loves to draw and they have little kid art classes so I might put her in something like that where she can't get hurt.

Michael is just being Michael he stays at home with mommy. If I take a nap he will take a nap with me. He is doing so much better it seems. He is starting to talk more and is now starting to go "pee pee" or "caca" in the potty! Yay Mikey!!! He is currently in his naked phase. He doesn't like to wear clothes and I will catch him sleeping naked or he will run out in the front yard naked. LOL! He just doesn't like clothes.

Baby Update...

Yesterday I had my first OB/GYN appointment. I was nervous because I went to the same OB doctor for my first three pregnancies. Yes, I was pregnant three times, the middle one was a miscarriage. Anyways, I wasn't sure how good he would be, if they would be nice, all the important stuff when you go to the doctor. Well, they were AWESOME!!! I loved them. So, they did an ultrasound just to check on the baby's growth and development and they found that the baby is only measuring at about 5 weeks, and according to my calculations and the doctors, I should be about 7-8 weeks. Also, they found what is called a Sub Chorionic Bleed, which can be harmful. It is blood in the uterus next to the baby. They really freaked me out when they said it could possibly be a miscarriage! But then they went on to say that my body could just absorb it up and that baby will be just fine! So we are just praying that the baby is fine. I have not had any symptoms like cramping or bleeding that would show that it is a miscarriage. I received a blessing and Nio and I are both confident that the baby will be okay! The doctor has scheduled me to go in for another ultrasound on October 6th, just to see if baby is growing properly and to see if the Bleed is gone or getting worse!!! So I will keep everyone updated.
Anyways, Joseph is continuing to tell people that it is twins. I asked him, "What color is the baby's hair going to be?" He said, "Well it will have brown hair, like me, Channing, and Mikey, and the other baby will have dark hair like Daddy Antonio." LOL!!! I am trying to convince him that there is only one!!! He doesn't believe me.
Channing is praying for a baby sister. She wants one because she said, " I have never had a sister before," then she started to cry. How sweet is that.
Well, Mike just doesn't really care about the baby at this point, as far as he is concerned, he is the baby!
Nio is super excited to have a baby and I am just as thrilled.

We are Pregnant!!!

Well, today we found out that we are pregnant!!! YAY!!! Antonio is so excited, he has been wanting to have a baby since we got married only 2 1/2 months ago, I guess he got what he wanted!!! I am due around May 12, 2009. (Ugh a summer baby!) According to the Chinese Pregnancy Calendar, it is a girl. Joseph and Channing are both just thrilled at the thought of a new baby. Michael, well he doesn't really understand I don't think. He has been the baby for so long, I am not sure how he will react to another baby in the house.
Well some other exciting news is that we have Channing! Her mom gave her up basically for the school year, doesn't want to deal with her, but still wants the child support. Go figure! So Channing is going to school down here and she loves it so far.
Michael is being tested for autism. He is currently on risperedal which is an antispychotic. He will randomly get mad and hit himself or others. He is also going to speech therapy now. We are just praying that he will be fine and that the doctors will be able to say that it is not autism, he is just delayed right now.

Birthday and other news!

The boys are with their dad, Channing went back to her mom's house in california, Dorothy is at a friend's, so it is just Antonio and me at home and it's so peaceful so I can finally update our blog!!! On August 15th, Antonio and I took Channing out to a birthday dinner at Chili's (she picked it). She got her special little birthday dessert, but apparently they aren't allowed to sing anymore, weird!!! After that we took her to the movies to see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, (I picked it! LOl! but she liked it!) That night on the way home, she said that that was the best day ever! Then on August 16th, we had Channing's birthday! YAY!!! It was a Princess themed pool party with pizza! She had like 6 friends over, and the missionaries and some of our friends. It was so much fun! It was her first birthday party, I guess her real mom doesn't do birthday parties so she has never really had one! Anyways, Channing told me it was the best party she has ever had, lol!

On August 22nd, we took Channing to Cheesecake Factory and then to the mall for her last full day with us. The next day, she left to go back home with her mom! Though she was a pain in the butt half of the time I will miss her. I will be home alone alot now and she won't be there crying at my door to sleep with me and the house will be too quiet, LOL!

Well, for other news, Antonio was ordained a priest today! He was so excited! After he was ordained during priesthood, the bishop shook his hand and said, "Now you can go kiss your wife!" EMBARRASSING! I was totally embarrassed, but oh well.

Well, I think that that is all that has really happened! I will write more later!

Sooo....... Antonio and I are thinking of moving! Right now, we have six people in our home, we have our kids and then my ex-husbands step-sister. I know it's weird but she loves us more!!! So we want a bigger house and cheaper, we pay so much for our home right now, it's crazy!!! So today we went and looked at this BEAUTIFUL 5 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home! It was perfect and it was cheaper than what we are in now! So anyways, we may move soon, but we are praying about it. We will keep you updated!

Summer 2008

This summer has been completely busy and hectic. I am just now taking a break. First we had my family come down from Texas, so there were like 13 people staying in our home!!! YIKES! We had Antonio's baptism, our wedding, my brother Jason's wedding in our backyard as well, and now we are just resting. Tomorrow I have to take Dorothy to register at school. The boys will be at their dad's for a week of vacation time. In August we have Channing's birthday party. She is having a swim party, then she wants to take some friends to Build-A-Bear workshop, and then we are going to Disneyland. This will be Channing's first trip to Disneyland, and Joseph's and Michael's second or third. I am just a stay at home mom right now and loving it. I wake up every day at like 6:30, I know CRAZY huh, especially considering it's summer. Anyways, that is about it, I will be posting more once we have Channing's party!!!

WEDDING!!!

Well, lets see, Antonio and I were engaged in April and we got married OFFICIALLY on July 1st, then on July 18th, we had a ceremony/reception at our home that our friends and family could attend. Also, on July 16th, Antonio was baptized into the church! YAY! We anticipate getting married in the temple in about a year or so! Anyways, the wedding was really fun, it was small, I don't like people starring at me! LOL! It was in our backyard, by our pool with the pool sprinkler going, and we were under the gazebo! It was really pretty for a wedding in a backyard. LOL!!! Our colors were pastel pink, hot pink, white, and beige. My mom, Grandma Teddie, and I made my wedding cake, it was good, and looked pretty for a home made wedding cake!!! Anyways, things have been going great and we are extremely happy to be together!!! Thats it for now!

Joseph's 4th Birthday/Spring Break

Wow how time does fly! Joseph just turned 4 on March 16th. Perfect timing! I am out for spring break this week and I am also getting some money, so I am planning to take Joseph on a birthday trip! Fun, Fun, Fun! Joseph's little party went well. He went over to his grandma's house and had cake and hot dogs. I will be having a birthday party for him over here at my home with all of his little friends from church and what not. Anyways, that is all for now!

Fall Break

It's fall break for the boys and me!!! I have been off work for fall break since October 5th! YAY!!! So that gave me some extra time to spend with the boys! We didn't have enough money to take a trip so we have just been staying at home getting ready for Halloween! Joseph was so excited to go to the store and pick out Halloween decorations. Joseph and Antonio did the front yard, and I decorated inside the house! We can't wait until we can get a pumpkin and carve it! Joseph tries to get one everytime we go to the store!!!!
Also, this fall break I was given the opportunity to volunteer at the special olympics here in Surprise, Arizona. The school that I work for sponsored it, so a few of us voluntereed to go and help out. I wasn't too excited because it was on a Saturday and I had to be there by 06:30 a.m., but as the day went on, we had sooooo much fun!!!! It was really a blast, and I am considering going back and volunteering at the next event in December, that one is the bowling tournament!!!

General

This year we started out with a totally new beginning. I began my divorce and moved about 60 miles away from Joe and his family. I am dating a great guy, Antonio, that will be getting baptized soon. I started off the year working for the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office and I am now a teacher at an alternative school! I absolutely love my job and the kids! I also love the fact that I get Christmas break, Fall break, Spring Break, every holiday the kids get, I get!!! And I get paid for it!!! You gotta love that!
Joseph is 3 years old and getting so big! He is such a daddy's boy! He loves hunting with his daddy, playing with friends, going to Peter Piper Pizza or Chuck E Cheese's. He likes going to the gym with mommy and Antonio and playing in the little kids gymnasium. He is such a sweet little boy, yet very onry. He likes to think he is the boss and always tells me, "I dont know who you think you are talking to."
Michael is my baby and will be 2 on January 1st. My how time does fly. He is the sweetest little boy! He is definately a mommas boy! I cant get around without him in between my legs. Michael loves to play outside. He loves playing with all of his puppies, especially Willy! He isnt talking much but he does like to tell mommy she is pretty, and he likes to tell Joseph to shut up!
